Personal Information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

Additionally when you create an account or you book a house cleaning appointment through our platform, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, appointment address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, phone number or any other personal information which you give us in connection with the Service. We refer to this information as “Booking Information.”

In addition, if you sign up to become a Cleaner on our Cleanduo platform we may collect additional information such as:

  • Log in information
  • Billing information
  • Availability
  • Photo of yourself
  • Any additional information necessary for you to accept bookings and get paid.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Booking Information.

How do we use your Personal Information?

We use the Booking Information that we collect generally to fulfill any bookings made through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging cleaning, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Booking Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Screen our bookings for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Sharing your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Background Checks Service Providers: We use Checkr for purposes of performing background checks on Cleaners that register to perform Services for Customers on the Cleanduo Platform. During the registration process, the information you provide to Checkr is transmitted using SSL encryption, which is a primary tool in protecting sensitive operations with web servers during data transport of information that allows for a secure connection between the two parties. HR Management and ID Verification: We use BreezyHR for purpose of communication with applicants as well as for purpose of performing ID verification. You can find more information about BreezyHR privacy policy at: https://breezy.hr/privacy.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Data Retention

When you make a booking through our Platform or in any other way create an account, we will maintain your Booking Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Data Security

Every registered user on Cleanduo platform has a profile that is password protected so that only you and authorized Cleanduo employees have access to your account information. It is important for you to keep this information private, do not give your password to anyone. Cleanduo takes reasonable steps to protect personally identifiable information as you transmit it to our site and to protect such information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, you should keep in mind that no Internet transmission is ever completely secure or error-free.


Cleanduo does not knowingly collect information from children under 13, as the Cleanduo Platform is not directed at Users under 18. If you are a parent and believe that your child under the age of 13 has used the Cleanduo Platform and provided personal identifiable information to us through the Cleanduo Platform, please contact us at contact@cleanduo.com so we can delete that account and/or any Personal Information collected from them on the Cleanduo Platform.


We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
